Introducing the ApplyDeck Blog

ApplyDeck exists because applying for jobs is a badly instrumented process. You send things into a void, wait an indeterminate time, and get either silence or a calendar invite with no indication of what worked.

We see a slice of that process at a scale most individuals never do — which comes with an obligation to say what we actually observe rather than repeat the advice everyone already publishes.

What will be here

• Practical guides on the parts of a search people get wrong, written to be specific enough to act on.

• Product notes on what we shipped and, more usefully, what we tried and rolled back.

• Occasional data on what we can see in aggregate — never anything traceable to a person.

What will not be here

Listicles regurgitating the same eight resume tips. Anything claiming a single trick beats an ATS. And we will not publish a study drawn from our own users' data without saying plainly how it was aggregated.

If something we publish turns out to be wrong, we will correct it in place and say what changed rather than quietly editing it.
